Pro is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate Business Intelligence and Data Platform implementation initiatives within a complex retail environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end projects involving BI, data warehousing, analytics and modern cloud data platforms , with particular exposure to Snowflake and Databricks . The role requires a strong understanding of data and technology delivery, combined with proven project management experience within a retail environment .

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of BI, data and analytics projects from initiation through to implementation and closure.
• Manage projects involving modern data platforms, including Snowflake and Databricks .
• Coordinate the implementation and enhancement of Business Intelligence and data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets and delivery roadmaps.
• Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, issues and change requests.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, BI Developers, Data Analysts, Architects, Business Analysts and other technology stakeholders.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear project deliverables.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and third-party service providers.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget and quality standards.
• Facilitate project governance, status reporting, steering committee meetings and stakeholder updates.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, dependencies and delivery challenges.
• Support the adoption and implementation of modern data and analytics capabilities across the organisation.
• Ensure appropriate testing, deployment, documentation and handover processes are followed.
• Drive collaboration between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular reporting on project progress, key milestones, risks, issues and overall delivery status.

• 7+ years’ experience as a Project Manager within technology, data, BI or analytics environments.
• Proven experience managing BI and Data implementation projects .
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics environments.
• Practical project exposure to Snowflake and Databricks .
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Experience managing technical teams and complex, cross-functional technology projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with Agile and/or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong understanding of project governance, planning, risk management and delivery methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple work streams and competing priorities.

Retail experience is essential.

Candidates should have experience working on data, BI, analytics or technology transformation initiatives within a large retail environment, ideally with exposure to:

• Retail operations
• Supply Chain
• Customer analytics
• E-commerce
• Finance
• Inventory and product data
• Reporting and Business Intelligence

• Experience with in a large enterprise or high-volume retail environment.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms .
• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, ETL/ELT and data integration .
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Relevant Project Management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification .
• Experience managing large-scale data transformation or cloud migration initiatives.
