Our client is seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architect to join their dynamic technology team in Cape Town. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient AI-driven solutions that leverage cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their business challenges and translate them into effective technical strategies.
This hybrid position allows for a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, offering the chance to architect transformative AI initiatives that have a tangible impact on business outcomes. We are looking for a visionary technologist with a proven track record in cloud architecture and a deep understanding of AI/ML principles.
- Design end-to-end AI/ML solutions, encompassing data pipelines, model deployment, and integration with existing enterprise systems on cloud platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on AI strategy, best practices, and emerging technologies to clients and internal teams.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI/ML services and tools from major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and technical demonstrations to showcase the value of proposed AI solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation and operationalization of AI architectures.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including technical presentations and proposal development.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions, including ML Ops best practices.
- Deep understanding of various AI/ML algorithms and their practical applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
