Principal Consultant - Digital Transformation

Our client, a prestigious international management consultancy, is actively seeking a Principal Consultant to join their dynamic team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This senior role is critical for driving large-scale digital transformation initiatives for our diverse client base. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing cutting-edge digital strategies, leveraging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and data analytics to redefine business models and enhance operational efficiency.

• Lead the design and execution of comprehensive digital transformation strategies for clients, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Oversee the implementation of digital solutions, including cloud migration, data analytics platforms, AI/ML integration, and customer experience enhancements.
• Provide expert advisory services to C-suite executives on digital trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of client business processes and technology landscapes to identify areas for digital innovation and improvement.
• Develop business cases and financial models to support digital transformation investments.
• Foster strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the transformation journey.
• Contribute to the firm's thought leadership in digital transformation and actively participate in business development activities.

• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in digital strategy, technology consulting, or a related senior leadership role within a digital context.
• Demonstrated expertise in areas such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), data analytics, AI/ML, IoT, and enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder digital transformation programs from inception to successful completion.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in the South African market or emerging markets is a significant advantage.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• PMP, ITIL, or other relevant technical/project management certifications are a plus.
