Within the Customer Training team, you will join a close-knit and international group of professionals who are passionate about helping customers succeed. As a Project Engineer Customer Training, you will lead and coordinate customized training projects for customers worldwide. From concept to execution, you will ensure that every training program is delivered seamlessly, enabling crews and organizations to operate Damen vessels safely, efficiently, and successfully. You will work closely with customers, trainers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to create impactful learning experiences across technical, nautical, shipbuilding, and maritime disciplines.

Design & Develop: Create tailored training and education plans aligned with customer requirements and operational objectives. Develop engaging learning programs for a wide variety of Damen vessels and products. Contribute to innovative learning approaches, including E-learning and Learning Management Systems.

Collaborate & Advise: Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding training solutions. Consult with customer representatives to understand learning needs and translate them into effective training programs. Work closely with internal experts and external training providers to deliver integrated learning experiences.

Coordinate & Execute: Organize global training projects from preparation through successful delivery. Arrange international travel, accommodation, locations, and logistics for trainers and participants. Ensure smooth execution of programs at both Damen locations and customer sites.

Lead & Monitor: Take ownership of project planning, budgeting, quality, and progress. Monitor project performance using SAP and project schedules. Provide clear reporting and updates to internal stakeholders.

Continuously Improve: Identify opportunities to enhance training quality and customer experience. Support the integration of external training systems and methodologies within the Damen learning framework. Contribute to the ongoing development of the Customer Training department.
