Group Procurement Manager

Hotel & Lodge Group with Head Offices based in Gardens, Cape Town is looking for a Group Procurement Manager.

The Group Procurement Manager role is responsible for supplier management, contract negotiation, procurement policies, inventory optimization, and supporting operational excellence across all Hotels and Lodges locations.

Regular travel to all Hotels and Lodges will be required.

Duties:

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
Develop and implement group-wide procurement strategies.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
Source suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing and contract terms.
Standardize purchasing across hotel properties.
Manage tender processes and supplier selection.
Monitor procurement budgets and spending.
Deliver annual procurement savings targets.
Analyse purchasing trends and recommend efficiencies.
Reduce waste through improved purchasing practices
Responsible for the COS of all items in the Group

Requirements:

Grade 12
A formal qualification
At least 5 – 10 years' procurement experience, preferably within hospitality or hotels.
Experience managing multi-property or regional procurement operations.
Strong background in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
