Branch Logistics Coordinator

About the role

SIAAC Group is looking for an organised and proactive Branch Logistics Coordinator to manage day-to-day logistics activities at branch level.

The role coordinates customer deliveries, warehouse movements, transport, stock transfers and project material requirements, working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, warehouse partners and transport providers to ensure orders move accurately, efficiently and on time.

• Coordinate customer orders and deliveries from release through to final delivery
• Manage transport bookings, delivery scheduling and shipment tracking
• Coordinate warehouse receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and customer collections
• Monitor branch inventory, stock allocations, transfers and stock in transit
• Maintain accurate delivery, receiving, transfer and Proof of Delivery documentation
• Coordinate project material deliveries in line with installation schedules
• Monitor transport costs and support efficient load and delivery planning
• Maintain logistics trackers and provide accurate operational reporting
• Resolve and expedite delivery delays, shortages, damages and stock discrepancies
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, warehouses and transport providers to support branch operations

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or Business Administration; relevant experience may be considered
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, warehousing or order fulfilment
• Experience with in renewable energy, electrical distribution or project logistics is advantageous
• Working knowledge of ERP systems;
  Sage experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Understanding of inventory control, transport coordination, warehousing and POD management
• Valid driver’s licence where branch, warehouse or customer-site travel is required
