We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Stock Controller to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure that products are always in stock
• Track stock movements and update inventory records using our internal systems
• Communicate with suppliers to place orders and negotiate pricing
• Work closely with the sales team to fulfill customer orders and ensure timely delivery
• Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and take corrective action
• Assist with the implementation of inventory management processes and procedures
• Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and sales data
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to inform purchasing decisions

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business or supply chain management is preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of industrial products and materials is an asset
• Must be willing to work full-time in Cape Town, South Africa
