• Procure materials and components according to production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Manage inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while preventing stockouts.
• Negotiate with suppliers for pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock takes.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure efficient material flow.

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in purchasing and inventory control .
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Solid understanding of the Western Cape industrial landscape.
