Our client is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer with expertise in logistics and supply chain management for an on-site role. You will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing all aspects of the company's supply chain and logistics operations. This includes improving material flow, inventory management, transportation efficiency, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will leverage industrial engineering principles to identify bottlenecks, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Working closely with warehouse staff, procurement teams, and transportation partners, you will drive significant improvements in efficiency and effectiveness within a critical area of the business.
- Analyze and optimize logistics and supply chain processes, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve material flow, reduce lead times, and minimize operational costs.
- Design efficient warehouse layouts and material handling systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
- Utilize data analysis and Lean Manufacturing principles to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics for logistics and supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management techniques, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
