- Own Auto Store operational performance by monitoring throughput, system availability, order accuracy, and capacity; coordinate issue resolution with 3PL, technology, maintenance, and WMS partners; and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with internal teams and 3PL providers to deliver accurate, on‑time performance and a unified “One Team” approach.
- Drive operational excellence through KPI tracking, cost optimisation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Guide forecasting, labour planning, and reporting cycles to align resources with demand.
- Solve complex operational challenges using data, analysis, and structured problem‑solving.
- Represent logistics in cross‑functional forums, including daily operations calls and monthly planning sessions.
- Champion continuous improvement through audits, compliance monitoring, and operational best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field; suitable combination of education, experience and training accepted.
- Strong knowledge of third‑party logistics (3PL) operations across Australia and New Zealand.
- Experience with SAP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Transport Management System (TMS).
- Proven capability in optimising warehouse automation, including Auto Store workflows, WMS integration, throughput, system availability, inventory accuracy, and safe operating performance.
- Demonstrated strength in stakeholder engagement, performance management, and cost optimisation.
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into action, optimise cost, and elevate service.
- Strategic thinker who can zoom out to see the bigger picture while staying close enough to drive daily execution.
- Leadership approach that challenges the status quo, simplifies work, creates space for innovation, and is comfortable with ambiguity and confident in decision‑making.
- Ability to lead with empathy, coach with intent, and hold a high bar for performance.
- Understanding of the rhythm of retail distribution in Australia and New Zealand.
- Commitment to building inclusive, collaborative environments where teams can do their best work.
- Relentless about improving outcomes.
- Thrives in motion, sees complexity and brings clarity.
- Ability to move people and processes forward.
- Hands‑on experience with Auto Store systems.
