We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Plant Cleaner to join our team in Cape Town. The Plant Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our waste management facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our employees and clients.

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of the plant facility, including offices, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and empty waste bins
• Clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and machinery
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Plant Manager
• Assist with general tasks and duties as assigned by the Plant Manager

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed
