We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as an Airport Cleaner at our location in Cape Town, South Africa.

Job Summary:

As an Airport Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the airport facilities, including terminals, restrooms, lounges, and other public areas. You will work closely with other members of the cleaning team to ensure the airport is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain all areas of the airport, including terminals, restrooms, lounges, and other public areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and disinfect restroom facilities
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work collaboratively with other members of the cleaning team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of the airport
- Provide excellent customer service to airport staff and travelers
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
