Your role will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the effective management of the site’s facilities, buildings and related infrastructure. The role will contribute to ensuring that facilities are safe, compliant, well maintained and fit for purpose
, while supporting the effective utilisation and care of company assets.

Facilities Manager
- Support the maintenance of a safe, functional and compliant facilities environment in line with company and legislative requirements.
- Assist with the effective management, utilisation and maintenance of facilities assets in accordance with established asset care practices.
- Support compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements relating to facilities operations.
- Coordinate routine maintenance activities and liaise with service providers to ensure facilities requirements are attended to timeously.
- Assist with coordinating facilities projects and service activities to support the effective and timely delivery of services
- Maintain accurate facilities records, documentation and reports, and provide relevant information to support effective facilities management.
Experience that set you up for success:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial facilities environment
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in asset care within a facilities environment
- Practical experience and competence in the use of a variety of hand tools
- Sound construction knowledge - advantageous
- Exposure to general maintenance services and facilities infrastructure - advantageous
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
- Valid driver’s licence - advantageous
- Must be willing to work overtime when required
