Field Sanitation Technician

Our client is seeking a dedicated Field Sanitation Technician to join their team in Cape Town . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our client's facilities and operational sites adhere to the strictest hygiene and sanitation standards. You will perform hands-on cleaning, disinfection, and waste management tasks, playing a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for employees and customers.

This position requires a proactive approach to identifying potential sanitation issues and implementing effective solutions. You will work closely with site managers to uphold our company's commitment to excellence in cleanliness and public health, contributing directly to the operational integrity and reputation of our client's diverse service locations across the region.

• Perform thorough cleaning, disinfection, and sanitization of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and production spaces.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling programs in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify sanitation deficiencies and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and consumables in all serviced areas.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Proven experience in cleaning, sanitation, or janitorial services.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and their safe application.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a commercial or industrial setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks within scheduled periods.
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment.
