Senior Sanitation Supervisor

Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Sanitation Supervisor to oversee and lead the sanitation operations for their facilities in Cape Town . You will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning and sanitation standards are met and exceeded, managing a team of sanitation workers, and implementing effective cleaning programs. This critical role demands strong leadership, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of health and safety regulations within the cleaning industry.

The ideal candidate will be adept at training staff, optimizing workflows, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for employees and visitors.

• Supervise, train, and manage a team of sanitation workers , ensuring efficient task allocation and performance.
• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive cleaning and sanitation schedules and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve any sanitation-related issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities and minimize disruption to operations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sanitation supervision or a similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices in sanitation management .
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to cleaning services.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in the Cape Town area is advantageous.
