Industrial Cleaning Operative - Logistics Hub

Our client is seeking a robust Industrial Cleaning Operative to maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety within their logistics and distribution hub in Upington . This dynamic role involves the cleaning and sanitation of warehouse floors, loading docks, office spaces, and equipment to ensure an efficient and hazard-free operation. You will play a vital part in maintaining operational integrity and adhering to strict workplace safety regulations.

• Perform regular cleaning of large warehouse floors, including sweeping, scrubbing, and spot cleaning.
• Sanitize loading docks, staging areas, and equipment according to operational standards.
• Clean and maintain office spaces, restrooms, and break rooms to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Manage and properly dispose of waste materials, including packaging and operational debris.
• Operate and maintain industrial cleaning machinery, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs.

• Experience in industrial cleaning, warehouse maintenance, or a similar hands-on role.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
