Overview
An industry-leading client of ours is currently looking for the expertise of an experienced and ambitious Contracts Manager to join their team in Cape Town.
Contracts Specialist responsibilities include drafting and editing contracts, communicating with vendors and ensuring that our contracts meet all regulatory requirements. Ultimately, you will work with our legal department and directly with vendors to help draft, edit, and process legal contracts as needed.
Responsibilities:
Developing and presenting project proposalsMeeting with clients to find out their requirementsProducing plans and estimating budgets and timescalesDiscussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contractsAgreeing budgets and timescales with the clientsManaging construction schedules and budgetsDealing with any unexpected costsAttending site meetings to monitor progressActing as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managersWorking with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilitiesMaking sure construction projects meet agreed technical standardsLiaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client’s representativesOverseeing invoicing at the end of a projectWorking on-site and in an office.Key requirements:
5 Years of ExperienceRelevant Degree/Diploma/CertificateUpmarket Residential ExperienceExcellent oral and written communication skillsIn-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract documents and legal specificationsOutstanding negotiation and interpersonal skillsAbility to resolve client complaints and concernsHire Resolve is a top-tier recruitment firm that focuses on placing skilled professionals in permanent employment.
