Job Description
A leading solutions-driven organisation in the mobility and technology sector is recruiting on behalf of its Cape Town operation for a Senior Technical Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work across electronic and mechanical repairs, installations, and post-sale technical support within retail, FMCG, logistics, industrial and manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities:
Perform electronic and mechanical repairs to digital and RF equipment at component levelConduct SMD component soldering and detailed fault diagnosticsSupport product installations and undertake site visits when requiredProvide post-sale technical support to internal teams, partners and end-usersConfigure and test demo systems according to specificationComplete accurate technical documentation and ensure workshop compliance and safety standardsManage multiple priorities while maintaining high service standardsRequirements:
Matric (Grade 12)Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical repairs to component levelStrong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft OfficeExperience with barcode printing software, WLAN, Android OS and software security patchingValid driver’s licence and own reliable transportStrong verbal and written English communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProfessional, customer-focused approach with the ability to manage occasional high-pressure situationsEE Disclaimer:
