Position: Plant Head - (Steel Plant)1

PLANT HEAD – STEEL PLANT
Kuils River, Cape Town

Midvaal Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a senior Plant Head to lead a Steel Manufacturing Facility (Melt Shop, Rebar Mill & Wire Mill).

This executive-level role reports directly to the Board and requires strong technical expertise and strategic leadership.

Production planning & optimization

Quality assurance & process control
Health, Safety & Environmental compliance
Maintenance & asset reliability
Cost control & resource optimization
Business development & market growth
Lean, Six Sigma & continuous improvement

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, advanced qualifications are an advantage.

Ideal candidate:
Experienced steel manufacturing leader with strong operational, financial and strategic capabilities.
