Job Description:

We are currently seeking skilled and semiskilled boilermakers to join our team in Cape Town. As a boilermaker, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment. You will work with a variety of materials, such as steel, iron, and aluminum, to fabricate and install structures and components according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Measure and mark cutting and bending lines on materials
- Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, and shape metal pieces
- Weld or bolt components together to construct or repair structures
- Inspect and test completed structures to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing structures or equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade certification as a boilermaker
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
