Senior Production Line Manager – 2Nd Ops; Lean & Tpm

Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Production Line Supervisor to oversee daily operations at their facility in Cape Town . This role is critical in ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and that quality standards are consistently maintained. You will be responsible for guiding a team of production workers, managing workflow, and troubleshooting any issues that arise on the factory floor.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a keen eye for detail, contributing to a safe and productive work environment within a dynamic manufacturing setting.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production line staff to meet output goals.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies on the factory floor.
• Monitor production processes to maintain high standards of quality and identify any defects.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to existing team members.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on performance metrics to management.
• Manage inventory of materials and ensure timely replenishment for continuous operation.

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of production processes and machinery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical qualification is a plus.
