Montague Gardens is currently seeking to appoint an individual, with knowledge and experience in an FMCG printing environment to take on the role of a Reelstand Operator - Labels to ensure the accurate preparation of reels. The successful candidate will report directly to the Shift Leader – Press.
- Ensure correct paper size, grammage and check QTMS loaded
- Assist with paper breaks and change over
- Fault finding
- Management of excess paper and prevention of spoilage
- Ensure accurate preparation of reels to maintain desired quality within time tolerance
- Assist on the press when required
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained
- Adherence to safety procedures and operational maintenance
- Matric or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience as a Reelstand Operator
- Exposure to the Press room environment
