Job DescriptionRead engineering drawings and work with 3D CAD/CAM designs. Program and operate modern multi-axis CNC milling machines. Build precise plastic mould cavities, base plates, and pinch-offs. Assemble, bench fit, and polish moulds to fine finishes. Measure finished parts accurately using standard workshop measuring tools. Carry out routine mould maintenance, servicing, and swift repairs. Work with production staff to test and validate completed moulds.
WhatYou Need to Apply
- Recognized Red Seal Toolmaker Trade Test Certificate.
- Grade 12 or an N3 Mechanical Engineering Certificate.
- Solid hands-on experience working in a plastic mould toolroom.
- Good practical knowledge of modern CAD/CAM programming software.
- Proven competence setting and running CNC machining centers.
- Strong manual bench fitting, tool assembly, and polishing abilities.
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn.
