We are looking for a motivated System Engineer with 2-5 years of experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply) to support, implement, and maintain industrial systems within the Oil & Gas / Fuel storage and distribution environment.
What You ll Do- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot systems running on Red Hat Linux.
- Manage and support Oracle and SQL Server databases, including SQL scripting and stored procedures.
- Perform software testing, validation, and support system commissioning activities.
- Participate in system rollouts, upgrades, and migrations from legacy systems.
- Support FAT, SAT, and deliver end-user training.
- Work with Terminal Automation Systems (TAS) and Terminal Management Systems (TMS).
- Interface with field devices and controllers, including Preset Batch Controllers (Accuload III, Accuload IV, Multiload, Microload).
- Support Truck and Rail loading/offloading skids and related automation systems.
- Develop and analyse operational data, supporting data analytics and reporting.
- Design and support report development (e.g., SAP Crystal Reports, Jasper).
- Ensure system integration using Modbus TCP, Modbus Serial, and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and security.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux OS.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
- Strong SQL scripting and stored procedure development skills.
- Experience in software testing and system validation.
- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols.
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas storage and distribution business processes (highly preferred).
- Exposure to Truck/Rail loading operations is a strong advantage.
- Experience with data analytics tools or methodologies.
- Experience with TAS/TMS solutions.
- Experience with SCADA/PLC solutions.
- Experience with preset batch controllers (Accuload III/IV, Multiload, Microload).
- Reporting experience using SAP Crystal Reports, Jasper, or similar tools.
