An established retirement village is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide comprehensive clinical care, wellness support and healthcare coordination to elderly residents across independent and assisted living environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for resident assessments, daily wellness checks, chronic disease management, medication administration, wound care, care planning and emergency response. The role also involves managing the on-site clinic, maintaining accurate electronic clinical records, coordinating with doctors and other healthcare professionals, supporting families and overseeing private caregivers.
The ideal candidate should have Professional Nurse registration with SANC and relevant nursing experience, preferably within retirement villages, frail care, assisted living, elderly care, step-down or long-term care environments. Experience in geriatric nursing, chronic conditions, medication management, health assessments, care plans and emergency nursing is highly advantageous.

Key requirements:

Registered Professional Nurse with current SANC registration

Professional nursing experience, preferably in elderly/geriatric or long-term care

Strong clinical assessment and care-planning skills

Experience with medication administration and chronic disease management

Competent in wound care, vital signs, injections and basic clinical procedures

Good clinical documentation and electronic record-keeping skills

Ability to manage a clinic and medical stock

Strong communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills

Valid driver's licence advantageous

Willingness to participate in after-hours/weekend standby
