Every second weekend:
On-call
Registered as a Professional Nurse with SANC.
Valid SANC registration and relevant nursing qualifications.
Previous nursing experience, preferably in a frail care, hospice, community care, or primary healthcare setting.
Must have a valid drivers licence.
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in Afrikaans.
Good clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, professional and patient-centred approach to care.
Provide professional nursing care and support to patients.
Assess patients and monitor their health and care needs.
Administer medication and perform nursing procedures within scope of practice.
Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
Communicate with patients, families and other healthcare professionals.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and changing patient conditions.
Provide on-call support every second weekend.
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies and SANC requirements
