Attendant Packing Quality

Job Description

Responsible for total quality assurance at the production site, which includes ensuring the effectiveness of the Quality Control Management System and specifications to enable the production of high‑quality products.

• Conduct daily quality control checks on incoming raw material, in‑process product, and finished/packed product.
• Ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Control Management System and specifications to enable the production of high‑quality products.
• Ensure that testing equipment is in good condition to ensure accuracy of results.
• Analyze and record the results to verify whether the products are within specification and inform line and/or supervisor accordingly.
• Maintain general housekeeping and safety standards to meet GLP standards.
• Ensure Food Safety (FSSC 22000) adherence.
• Ensure compliance with the OHS Act.
• Ensure timely and accurate results capturing onto LIMS.

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.

• One to two years of experience in a laboratory environment will be an advantage.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office package).

• Ability to function in a team.
• Communication skills: ability to impart thoughts, opinion or information by speech or writing on all levels of the site.
• Problem solving: ability to use logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions for the production and consumer.
• Working independently and self‑motivated.
• Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to work cohesively in a team.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 will be advantageous.
• Experience working within an ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory will be recommended.
• ISO 17025 introduction and implementation essential.
