About the Role

Our client, a prominent aviation service provider in Cape Town , is seeking a meticulous Aircraft Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure adherence to stringent safety and regulatory standards across all maintenance operations. This role is pivotal in upholding the airworthiness of our client's fleet by conducting thorough inspections, audits, and assessments of maintenance work performed. You will be instrumental in identifying any non-compliance issues and collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to implement corrective actions, thereby safeguarding operational integrity and passenger safety.

• Perform detailed inspections of aircraft, components, and maintenance work to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Conduct internal audits of maintenance processes, procedures, and documentation to identify areas for improvement.
• Review and approve maintenance release documents and flight logs.
• Investigate non-conformities, deviations, and safety incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspection activities, audit findings, and corrective action plans.
• Stay updated on aviation regulations, industry best practices, and emerging quality assurance methodologies.

• A strong background in aviation maintenance or engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience in quality assurance or regulatory compliance within the aviation industry.
• Possession of relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license).
• Thorough understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., SACAA, EASA, FAA).
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to make sound judgments.
