Industrial Engineer - Quality Assurance

Our client is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer with a focus on Quality Assurance to join their on‑site team in Kimberley. This role is critical for ensuring that all manufacturing and operational processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for analyzing quality data, identifying root causes of defects, and implementing corrective actions and process improvements.

The ideal candidate is meticulous, analytical, and possesses a strong understanding of quality management systems and industrial engineering principles. This role requires a hands-on approach within the facility to effectively implement and monitor quality initiatives.

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for manufacturing processes in Kimberley.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry quality standards and certifications.
• Collaborate with production teams to drive a culture of quality excellence.
• Conduct process audits and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and reduce waste.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong emphasis on quality assurance and control.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
