The Shop Assistant / Cashier is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring efficient till operations, maintaining store standards, and supporting overall store performance. The role plays a vital part in creating a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service at all times
  • Assist customers with product selection and general enquiries
  • Accurately process cash, card, refunds, and lay-by transactions
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floors
  • Ensure correct pricing, labeling, and merchandising of products
  • Participate in stock counts and loss prevention activities
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Support team members to achieve store targets and objectives
Minimum Requirements and Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment

  • Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays
