Storekeeper

Motus Toyota Cape Gate currently holds a vacancy for a Storekeeper reporting to the Manager:
Parts.

The person in this position will be responsible for unpacking and storing in correct bin location, incoming parts, and to pick parts against correct documentation for delivery.

• Receive, unpack, check and bin all incoming stock.
• Ensure that parts are free from damage and that the part number and label are correct before binning.
• Ensure Admin department receives all relevant documentation with signatures.
• Ensure accuracy of binning.
• Update bin locations as per Toyota specifications and standards.
• Pick all parts against a computerized invoice (unless otherwise stated) and hand to appropriate authorized person.
• Examine and ensure all outgoing parts are free from damage before handing over to appropriate person.
• Ensure accuracy of picking.
• Adhere to all safety and security policies set out by the Company.
• Maintain and keep warehouse clean and tidy at all times.
• Assist with perpetual and periodic stock counts.
• Perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
• Ensure dress code is according to Toyota standards and personal hygiene.
• Be willing to work overtime during stocktaking.

• A minimum of Grade 12.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Clear criminal record.
• Area warehouse knowledge experience will be an advantage.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Working within Toyota standards.
