Job Overview

Upmarket and well‑known Home Décor Retail Brand seeks an experienced Senior Sales Consultant in Gardens, Cape Town. The role focuses on ensuring adherence to policies, risk mitigation, and driving a motivated store team to increase sales through effective stock management, merchandising and showroom operations.

• Build long‑standing and productive relationships with customers
• Sell luxury homeware products and reach or exceed sales targets
• Maintain retail showroom standards and operations
• Deliver customer satisfaction
• Manage orders of retail products for the showroom
• Perform stock management and conduct regular stock takes
• Support the external sales consultant
• Support the payment process
• Perform physical duties such as handling heavy rugs

• National Senior Certificate
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar retail role, preferably with a luxury brand
• Experience working on point of sale
• Previous senior role experience coordinating a team (advantageous)
• Knowledge of homeware and décor
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
• Customer service focused and oriented
• Highly sales driven with a focus on achieving results
• Professional and well presented
• Self‑motivated
• General business acumen
