We are looking for an exceptional Store and OPERATIONS MANAGER to join the team of a luxury designer fashion retailer in Cape Town and play a key role in taking the business to the next level.

This is more than a traditional retail position. We are looking for someone who combines

Excellent sales and customer-service skills with organisation, initiative and management potential. The successful candidate will become an important part of the management team and will be responsible for ensuring that the business operates smoothly when the owner is not present.

• Selling designer clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories in-store.
• Delivering an exceptional and sophisticated customer experience.
• Building relationships with new and existing clients.
• Uploading and managing products on Woo Commerce.
• Ensuring online listings are accurate, attractive and complete.
• Coordinating the flow of inventory from consignor through photography, listing and sale.
• Supervising and coordinating the existing team.
• Ensuring daily operational tasks are completed efficiently.
• Identifying problems and finding practical solutions.
• Taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation when the owner is away.
• Helping develop and improve company systems and processes as the business grows.

• Highly presentable and professional.
• An excellent communicator must be fluent in
• Naturally warm and engaging with customers.
• Commercially minded and sales-oriented.
• Organised and exceptionally detail-conscious.
• Proactive and able to take responsibility.
• Able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Comfortable supervising others.
• Comfortable working with technology and e-commerce.
• Interested in fashion and luxury brands.

• Matric is a prerequisite. A tertiary qualification would be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years' experience in a managerial role, preferably in luxury or designer fashion retail.
• Experience in premium clothing / boutique retail and handbag sales would be an added advantage.
• Experience working with E-commerce / online buying using Woo Commerce or similar platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to use you own initiative. We are looking for someone that has outstanding leadership skills and the ability to manage a functional team. Someone with excellent communication and presentation skills; written and verbal.

Operations Manager salary:
Competitive Remuneration: market-related salary package.
