BROKSTOCK is looking for a motivated Junior Client Development Specialist to join our Cape Town sales team.

The role is focused on outbound engagement with a large warm client base. Your main objective will be to contact clients, build rapport, understand their needs and financial potential, identify upsell opportunities, and transfer qualified clients to a Business Development Manager for further individual work.

This is a high-volume calling role involving approximately 80–100 calls per day. It is suitable for someone at the beginning of their sales career who already understands the fundamentals of sales and wants to grow within the investment and fintech industry.

• Make approximately 80–100 outbound calls per day;
• Work with warm client lists generated through platform activity and behavioural triggers;
• Establish contact and build trust with clients;
• Ask structured questions to understand client needs, experience and financial potential;
• Identify opportunities to increase client engagement and assets on the platform;
• Present relevant platform benefits and available offers;
• Qualify clients and transfer high-potential opportunities to a BDM;
• Schedule follow-up calls or meetings where appropriate;
• Maintain accurate client records, outcomes and next steps in the CRM;
• Follow approved scripts, compliance requirements and sales processes.

This is a non-advisory role. The employee may explain platform features, products, fees and available options but may not provide personalised financial advice or recommend specific investments.

• Approximately one year of experience in sales, telesales, customer service or a client-facing role;
• Understanding of the basic sales process;
• Strong communication and active-listening skills;
• Ability to establish rapport and build trust quickly;
• Confidence in asking questions and identifying client needs;
• Comfortable working with daily call and conversion targets;
• Resilience, discipline and a results-oriented mindset;
• Professional working proficiency in English;
• Interest in investments, financial markets or fintech.

Experience in banking, financial services, brokerage, insurance or call-centre sales will be an advantage. Knowledge of Afrikaans, isi Xhosa or another South African language is also beneficial.

• 80–100 outbound calls per day;
• Client contact and meaningful-conversation rate;
• Number of clients with identified financial potential;
• Number and quality of qualified opportunities transferred to BDMs;
• Upsell conversion and assets attracted from transferred clients;
• Accuracy and completeness of CRM records.
