Sales Executive - FMCG

About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to join their thriving FMCG team in Cape Town . You will be instrumental in expanding the company's market share by building strong relationships with retailers and distributors across the Western Cape region. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and a dedication to achieving ambitious sales targets.

You will be a key ambassador for our client's popular brands, contributing directly to their continued success in the market.

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed targets for assigned territories.
• Identify and prospect new clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Present and sell company products to potential and existing customers, highlighting value propositions and benefits.
• Negotiate contracts and terms of business, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
• Provide regular market feedback and competitor activity reports to the sales management team.

• Proven sales experience, preferably within the FMCG sector .
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the Cape Town and surrounding areas.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
