Regional Sales Manager

Lead regional sales for a global logistics powerhouse. With operations across 60+ countries and a global workforce of more than 120,000 employees, the organisation plays a critical role in connecting international trade lanes and helping businesses move goods efficiently across the world.
Our client is a global leader in end-to-end supply chain and logistics solutions, with a significant international footprint spanning ports and terminals, freight forwarding, contract logistics, marine services and integrated supply chain solutions.
Its integrated logistics offering extends across ocean, air, road and rail, supported by an extensive global network of logistics facilities, ports, terminals and freight-forwarding capabilities.
Duties:

• Build and manage a strong regional sales pipeline and deliver against aggressive sales and revenue targets.
• Lead, manage, coach and develop Business Development Managers across the region.
• Identify and attract experienced business development talent.
• Take ownership of regional sales pipeline reporting, forecasting and accuracy.
• Support national sales and marketing initiatives and campaigns.
• Manage the consolidation, quality control and submission of monthly sales reports.
• Coordinate customer, group and sales events.

Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Marketing, Logistics or a related discipline highly beneficial.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience within international freight forwarding, with at least 3-5 years in a Sales Manager or senior sales leadership role managing a regional and/or national sales team.
• A proven track record of achieving sales growth and revenue targets within freight forwarding is essential, together with a strong existing network within the freight-forwarding and logistics industry.
