You’ll be responsible for developing new business, assisting customers with their fireplace and braai requirements, and turning opportunities into successful sales. This is a role for someone who enjoys being proactive rather than waiting for customers to walk through the door. You should be comfortable engaging with clients, identifying opportunities and working with building plans and measurements.
Experience in fireplaces or heating products would be highly advantageous. However, candidates with a proven sales track record in related home-finishing sectors—such as flooring, air-conditioning, roofing materials, paints or sanitary ware—are also encouraged to apply. A technically minded approach and confidence around building sites will be important.
The package includes a basic salary of R20,000 plus a commission structure linked to sales performance
, along with a 6% company provident fund contribution and a medical aid hospital plan. A company vehicle is available for sales-related duties during the working day.
The position is based in Cape Town and requires a Code 08 driver’s licence
. The successful candidate will need to be available immediately for training before being placed ding requirements include Saturdays, with days off arranged during the week during the busy April-to-October season.
