• Identify and develop new business opportunities across corporate, SME, agency, retail and other advertising sectors.
• Drive advertising sales across digital, social media, website and magazine platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, media agencies, marketing managers and business owners.
• Proactively prospect for new clients through calls, meetings, networking, referrals, email and social media.
• Understand clients’ marketing objectives and recommend relevant advertising solutions and campaigns.
• Develop and present customised digital and social media advertising proposals, media packages and campaigns.
• Promote integrated advertising solutions combining digital and social media exposure.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching through negotiation, closing, campaign delivery and follow-up.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, media plans, presentations and sales reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities in digital advertising and social media.
• Work closely with editorial, digital, creative, marketing and production teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, client activity and sales performance.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional advertising products and platforms.
• Attend industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings to expand the company’s commercial network.

• Proven experience in business development, advertising sales, media sales, digital sales, or social media sales.
• Experience selling advertising solutions to businesses, brands, media agencies, or marketing departments is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of online advertising, sponsored content, social media campaigns, display advertising, paid media and digital audience engagement.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong prospecting and business development abilities.
• Commercially driven with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Confident in engaging with decision-makers at various levels.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a sales team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and CRM or sales-management systems.
