Product Sales Consultant

Product Sales Consultant position available in Cape Town.

Proven sales experience and a basic understanding of finance is essential.

Salary:
Basic salary plus commission, fuel card, vehicle maintenance allowance.

Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Sales, or a related field would be highly advantageous
• Valid South African driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
• Proven sales experience in the office stationery, office supplies or FMCG industry will be advantageous
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and intermediate Excel skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach
• Motivated by performance-based earnings and an attractive commission structure

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet prospects and leads in-person to establish and develop business relationships
• Provide internal sales with new business details to grow your prospect list
• Present current vs future state proposals, clearly identifying the customer’s requirement
• Accurately and timeously complete and process all documentation and admin as specified
• Maintain and develop a high level of competitive product knowledge
• Work with the Sales Manager on your individual activity metrics to ensure minimum requirements are met to achieve your monthly target
• Maintain a professional approach and continuously look for ways to incrementally improve your sales process
