Senior Outbound Sales Executive

Senior Outbound Sales Executive required in Cape Town.

We are currently looking for a Senior Outbound Sales Executive for a permanent position based in Maitland, Cape Town.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive outbound sales and actively develop new business opportunities.
• Spend the majority of the working week meeting customers in the field.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prospect, cold-call and identify new customers and market segments.
• Maintain knowledge of product pricing, availability and market positioning.
• Respond to customer queries and act as their primary point of contact.
• Process customer orders and follow through to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor order fulfilment and resolve customer issues proactively.
• Provide management with market, competitor and customer insights.
• Support the future development and mentoring of junior sales team members.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in outbound, relationship-driven sales.
• Food, seafood, FMCG or similar fast-moving industry experience advantageous.
• Strong new business development and prospecting skills.
• Confident, outgoing and customer-focused communication style.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Self-motivated, resilient and able to work independently.
• Comfortable with extensive field-based travel.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Strong leadership potential with the ability to mentor and develop a sales team.
