Regional Sales Director

A prominent provider of technology-enabled vehicle tracking, fleet management, and telematics solutions is seeking a strategic and performance-driven Regional Sales Director to lead commercial expansion across the Western Cape. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this executive leadership position is responsible for translating national commercial strategy into actionable regional execution plans. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end regional sales operations, direct go-to-market strategies, and drive market share growth across corporate, broker, and dealer channels.

This role demands an experienced commercial leader who can optimise channel performance, build high-performing teams, and foster close cross‑functional alignment with operational delivery teams to ensure customer acquisition and retention goals are fully realised. Standard full‑time business hours apply, based out of the regional office in Cape Town, Western Cape.

• Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales plans to achieve acquisition, revenue, and retention targets in alignment with national growth strategies.
• Direct and optimise multi‑channel sales distribution, including corporate accounts, insurance brokers, automotive dealerships, and strategic partners.
• Maintain rigorous pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and commercial governance across all regional sales activities.
• Lead, coach, and mentor regional sales managers and account teams, driving capability building and performance management.
• Partner directly with Regional Operations teams to align sales commitments with installation capacity and service delivery schedules, resolving customer escalations efficiently.
• Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to inform Sales Leadership, Product, and Marketing teams on emerging trends and customer requirements.
• Cultivate strategic relationship networks across key regional commercial clients and industry bodies.
• Participate in national strategic initiatives and facilitate knowledge sharing across regional business units.

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Sales Operations, Business Management, Commerce, or a related field (NQF Level
  7).
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales leadership experience.
• Proven track record of at least 5 years operating in a senior sales management or commercial leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding regional revenue targets and delivering sustainable growth.
• Strong capability in sales pipeline discipline, revenue forecasting, and channel strategy execution.
• Exceptional leadership, executive coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regionally.

• Prior leadership experience within vehicle tracking, telematics, IoT solutions, or technology-enabled services sectors.
