Threat Detection Analyst

We are seeking a composed, detail-oriented Threat Detection Analyst to join our 24/7 monitoring team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who performs well under pressure, demonstrates strong analytical judgment, and produces clear, high-quality written intelligence with minimal supervision. This role is well-suited to individuals with a background in security, intelligence, analysis, or related fields, who are committed to delivering timely and relevant insights that support client safety and business continuity.

• Monitoring real-time events and developments in the region using open-source and local-language media to identify potential threats or issues of concern
• Assessing and prioritizing incidents that may have personal safety or business continuity implications for clients
• Drafting concise, accurate, and error-free intelligence products, including tactical alerts, under tight time frames
• Supporting 24/7 operations, including weekend work (up to a maximum of five days per week)
• Performing additional analytical or operational tasks as assigned

• The Threat Intelligence Manager, to whom this role reports
• Regional and Thematic Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure consistency of analytical assessments and advice
• Operational teams, collaborating closely to support timely and actionable intelligence delivery

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., international relations, political science, security studies, intelligence studies, economics)
• Minimum of two years’ professional experience in a related field (e.g., intelligence, security, risk management, analysis, journalism)
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
• High level of computer proficiency

Preferred

• Master’s degree in a related field - International Relations / Political Studies
• Experience working with AI-enabled tools and web-scouring technologies
• Foreign language capability, with fluency in French strongly preferred
