CCTV Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and surveillance security systems.
• Promptly report any safety, security, or technical matters and create corresponding tickets.
• Efficiently coordinate day-to-day tasks, ensuring they are carried out in a timely and effective manner, following the instructions of the Senior Operator.
• Conduct a comprehensive and thorough handover prior to the commencement of each shift.
• Assist in training new and existing personnel, following the guidance of the Operations Supervisor.
• Provide assistance and support to the department as directed by the Operations Supervisor.
• Assist in investigations as required.
• Possess extensive knowledge and understanding of the prescribed actions to be taken in the event of an incident, following the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Excellent command of English language both written and verbal.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient understanding of CCTV / Surveillance systems and their operations.
• Very good understanding of maritime operations and cargo vessels.
• Proactive, effective solution and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to observe details, plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Strong capabilities in close monitoring, report compilation, organizing tasks, and efficient record keeping.
• Excellent knowledge and working abilities of Microsoft Office.

• Proven and adequate work experience.
• Relevant Training and minimum 1 year of experience in Maritime Security.

• Operational and analytical thinking.
