Security Program Manager, DC Security

AWS Data Center Operations Security Team seeks a highly talented and motivated Physical Security Program Manager (SPM) to join our team.

The position is responsible for the design, installation, and integration of security systems equipment including, but not limited to, Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.

The SPM is a key member of the EMEA Security team, reports to the Multi‑Cluster Security Program Manager, and supervises the compliance of physical security standards, manages Physical Security Projects, serves on cross functional teams, and is a subject matter expert in all facets of Physical Security.

• Provide technical leadership for large-scale security engineering projects, coordinate security system design specifications and change management between internal teams and external vendors.
• Excellent project management skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize tasks, and work seamlessly across organizational boundaries.
• Secure the compliance of physical security project standards, project scopes of work, budgets, and timelines.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs and change‑outs.
• Support security system equipment commissioning.
• Complete the final test and acceptance of security systems.
• Build and deploy training programs for all users of physical security systems.

• Designing, developing, and implementing solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs and change‑outs.
• Ensuring compliance with physical security project standards, scopes of work, budgets, and timelines.
• Managing the installation, operation, and maintenance of regional and/or global physical security systems.
• Prioritizing tasks effectively and functioning across organizational boundaries.
• Supporting security system equipment commissioning.
• Completing final test and acceptance of security systems.
• Executing and coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs to security system equipment.
• Building and deploying training programs for all users of physical security systems.

• Experience as a Physical Security Program Manager for large and complex installations.
• Experience in managing the operation of regional and/or global physical security systems.

• CPP, PSP, PMP or CISSP Certification.
• Certification in LenelS2 Access Control Systems.
• Extensive experience in corporate security and workplace safety.
