The Security Guard role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cape Town. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, control access points, and ensure the safety of people, property, and assets. Daily tasks include observing CCTV footage where applicable, responding to alarms or incidents, reporting suspicious activity, and enforcing company and site-specific security procedures. The role also involves interacting with visitors, customers, and staff in a professional manner, providing assistance and information, and preparing clear incident and shift reports.

Security Guards are expected to collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to support consistent, high-quality protection.

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact respectfully and effectively with clients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Candidates should possess solid Physical Security and Private Security skills to perform patrols, control access, and safeguard premises and assets.
• Candidates should possess relevant Personnel Security knowledge to support safe environments and maintain confidentiality where required.
• Candidates should possess good observation, problem-solving, and incident reporting skills, with the ability to follow established procedures.
• Candidates should possess a proven ability to work shifts, stand or walk for extended periods, and respond calmly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Candidates should possess prior security experience, valid security certification or registration as required by local regulations, and a clean background; experience in industrial, retail, or event security is an advantage.
