Site Supervisor Opportunity

A national manufacturer of mobile computerized racking systems has an opportunity for a Site Supervisor with a RED SEAL Electrical qualification with PLC Programming and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience to join their dynamic team in their Cape Town office.

• Liaise with clients to maintain and improve service levels
• Perform site inspections independently and report findings
• Do repairs and maintenance of new and existing systems
• Manage and plan new installations
• Respond to breakdowns
• Train and supervise assistants as necessary
• Travel outside of Johannesburg on short notice
• Complete breakdown and planned work in accordance with a technical job card system
• Write reports following inspections
• Draw up quotes
• Complete project work in accordance with project schedules

• Recognisable technical qualifications – RED SEAL Electrician
• Minimum 5 years working experience as a RED SEAL Electrician
• Solid PLC Programming experience is non‑negotiable
• PLC experience advantageous
• Experience in fault finding
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Problem‑solving ability
• Physically and medically fit to work in cold conditions (‑20° Celsius)
• Ability to work at heights
• Experience in reading electrical drawings is advantageous
• Willingness to work weekends if required
• Discipline and attention to detail
• Ability to perform administrative duties
• Ability to work with a diverse cultural mix of people
• Valid Code EC or EC1 driver’s licence
• Valid and updated passport
• Clear criminal record

Salary : R30, - R35, pm CTC dependent on experience and qualifications

A company van will be available for company use only (e.g., attending callouts, sites, etc.)

A laptop, PPE, and other tools / equipment are provided.

Monday to Thursday : 07h30 to 16h30;
Friday : 07h30 to 14h00
