Front End Lead

As a Front-End Lead, you will be responsible for front end web development and support of the company's website. You'll design, develop and maintain the site in HTML5/CSS3, manage MySQL databases, implement Google AdWords campaigns and work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to integrate AWS services into the business' infrastructure. You will also ensure that all customer facing applications are up-to-date and secure through regular application security scans by using OWASP ZAP scanning tools.

Requirements

• Assists in development of the digital "front end" of the client's website, from web design through to end-user experience.
• Performs hands-on coding assignments, using industry best practices.
• Revises, enhances and maintains front-end code as necessary.
• Takes a lead role in management of the team.
• Oversees development process, including code writing, testing, and deploying new features.
• Encourages team members to share ideas and contribute to projects.
• All levels of programming experience will be considered.
• Responsible for project vision, scope, budget, timelines, quality, deliverables and technical performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required
• 2+ years of experience in a Front End role.
• Experience with Bootstrap is a plus.
• AWS Lambda and Python is a plus
