AI Engineer; Intermediate II​/Senior Durbanville - mil per annum

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production‑grade AI solutions that deliver measurable business value. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, develop intelligent automation solutions, and implement scalable AI systems using Microsoft AI technologies. This role combines business analysis, solution architecture, generative AI, and full AI/ML deployment, with a strong focus on agentic AI, automation, and enterprise integration.

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy production‑ready AI applications using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Build and implement agentic and multi‑agent AI systems using appropriate orchestration frameworks and design patterns.
• Develop Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, prompt‑engineered workflows, and conversational AI assistants integrated into business processes.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data sources, REST APIs, Microsoft Teams, web applications, and other business systems.
• Optimize AI solutions for performance, scalability, cost efficiency, and user experience through prompt tuning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with responsible AI principles, governance, security, privacy, and audit requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree advantageous).
• Minimum 3 years' experience developing and deploying production AI solutions, preferably using Microsoft AI technologies.
• Proven experience building end‑to‑end agentic or multi‑agent AI systems in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and related Microsoft AI platforms.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as Microsoft Agent Framework, Lang Chain, Lang Graph, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, REST APIs, machine learning libraries, and AI solution integration.
• Experience developing RAG solutions, prompt engineering, LLM fine‑tuning, and AI cost optimization techniques.
