At Cyber Sentriq, we build secure, cloud native technologies that protect organisations globally. We are expanding our engineering team and looking for a Backend Developer proficient in Go who is passionate about building scalable, secure applications while embracing modern AI driven development.

As a Backend Developer, you will design, build, and optimise cloud based applications that underpin our core cyber security products. You'll work cross functionally with Product, Design, QA, and Operations to deliver high quality, secure features that directly impact customer experience and platform reliability.

This role is ideal for developers who thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to accelerate their growth by working with advanced technologies, including AIenabled development tooling and automated security controls.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Go applications using the latest cloud technologies, with a focus on security and data integrity.
• Work closely with Development, Product Design, QA, and Operations to define requirements and deliver high quality, secure features.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to security best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, prioritising security and data protection.
• Stay current with industry trends in cyber security and data management, sharing insights with the team.
• Perform Dev Ops duties, maintaining secure and reliable code in production environments.

• Solid experience with Golang
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerised environments
• Experience with messaging/queuing systems (e.g. NATS Jet Stream)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and working in a Saas environment is desirable
• Familiarity with agile development frameworks (e.g., SCRUM).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and tools.
• Understanding of modern development best practices, standards, and patterns.
