In this role, you’ll:

• Partner with dynamic project and BAU teams from concept and technical design all the way to deployment—shaping solutions that are scalable,maintainable, and built to last.
• Own and manage code repositories with Git Hub, championing best ‑ practice version control.
• Dive into change requests, analyse requirements, and shape smart, forward ‑ thinking solutions.
• Provide expert recommendations and clear effort estimates toguide decision ‑ making.
• Build, test, and refine your own programs or artefacts toensure exceptional quality.
• Collaborate closely with integrated systems through thorough interface testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and solve complex technical challenges with confidence.
• Empower our Testers with the information they need to validate top ‑ quality releases.
• Take responsibility for implementing enhancements into Production with precision and care.
• Document your work clearly and keep system and program documentation up to date.
• Maintain and evolve our data model documentation as the environment grows.
• Lead with curiosity by performing root cause analysis and providing functional support to users.
• Share your expertise and offer technical guidance to teammates working with your systems or programs.
• Step in to provide standby or after ‑ hours support when required, helping keep critical operations running smoothly.

• Relevant IT Qualifications (degree or diploma)

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with software applications using the C# programming language within the .NET framework
• Working knowledge of C++ will be an added advantage.
• Front-end frameworks (React)
• Web applications, cloud-native applications, and cloud-based applications
• Application monitoring and observability tools

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework
• Solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with database technologies (SQL Server, etc.)
• Exposure to Dev Ops (advantageous)
• Knowledge of software design patterns and engineering best practices
• Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
• Basic understanding of UML (Class, Activity, Entity Relation Diagrams)
• Exposure to the Financial Services industry (advantageous)
• Working knowledge of core AWS services
